PingModel ("we", "our", "the app") is a BYOK (bring your own key) AI chat workspace. This policy explains what data the app handles, what it does not collect, and how your information is treated when you use PingModel.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

PingModel does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers. We do not operate backend servers that receive your messages, API keys, or usage data. Specifically:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information.
• We do not require account creation or login.
• We do not track your usage with analytics services.
• We do not serve advertisements.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

All app data is stored locally on your device. This includes:

• API keys — stored securely in the device keychain.
• Messages and conversations — stored in local app storage.
• Bot configurations, channel settings, and preferences — stored in local app storage.

This data remains on your device and is not accessible to us. If you delete the app, this data is removed.

3. Data Sent to Third-Party AI Providers

When you send a message in PingModel, the app transmits your message content (and relevant conversation history, depending on your context settings) directly to the third-party AI provider you have configured. This includes providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Google AI, DeepSeek, and others.

These requests are sent directly from your device to the provider's API endpoint using the API key you have provided. PingModel does not proxy, intercept, or store these requests.

Each provider has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any provider whose API key you use:

PingModel is not responsible for how third-party providers handle your data once it is transmitted to their services.

4. No Tracking or Analytics

PingModel does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or crash reporting services. We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or behavioral data.

5. Children's Privacy

PingModel is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
